This entry-level position focuses on tailoring electronic and electrical systems for Cummins products. The role involves translating product requirements into technical specifications for hardware and software. • Basic knowledge about sensors, actuators, engine and genset systems, battery, and electronic controls.
• Experience in programming tools such as Python, Matlab, Simulink, and NI Labview/TestStand.
• Working knowledge in CyberApps models, PDAT, CAN/J1939 datalinks, and MODBUS/Ethernet is a plus.
• Experience in GT plant model development.
• A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

• Investigate electronic application and systems problems and recommend appropriate actions.
• Support the improvement of electronic application and systems development processes and tools.
• Obtain input from customers and stakeholders to inform product decisions.
• Develop HIL and detailed puresim system simulation models for multiple platforms.
• Contribute to the development of tools and processes that support system model development.
