Job description
This entry-level position focuses on tailoring electronic and electrical systems for Cummins products. The role involves translating product requirements into technical specifications for hardware and software. The individual will engage in validation testing and problem resolution while collaborating with various stakeholders. Requirements
- Basic knowledge about sensors, actuators, engine and genset systems, battery, and electronic controls.
- Experience in programming tools such as Python, Matlab, Simulink, and NI Labview/TestStand.
- Working knowledge in CyberApps models, PDAT, CAN/J1939 datalinks, and MODBUS/Ethernet is a plus.
- Experience in GT plant model development.
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Investigate electronic application and systems problems and recommend appropriate actions.
- Support the improvement of electronic application and systems development processes and tools.
- Obtain input from customers and stakeholders to inform product decisions.
- Develop HIL and detailed puresim system simulation models for multiple platforms.
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes that support system model development.
