As a Sr. SAP ABAP Developer at Rivian, you will lead complex SAP development projects focusing on Sales Distribution, Vehicle Management Systems, and Warranty Processing. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications while optimizing Rivian's SAP systems. The role emphasizes modern ABAP programming paradigms and the integration of AI tools to enhance development efficiency. This position is based in Atlanta, GA and reports to a Sr. Manager.

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience with expertise in SAP SD, VMS, and Warranty Processing modules.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Expert knowledge of core and modern ABAP programming models, including OO ABAP, RAP, and CDS views.
• Hands-on experience with modern SAP ecosystems such as SAP Fiori and SAP BTP.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and integrating AI capabilities into SAP workflows.

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom SAP solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert complex requirements into technical specifications.
• Establish development frameworks and promote modern ABAP programming models.
• Provide high-level technical designs and architecture for complex projects.
• Coordinate technical deliverables across distributed development teams and provide production support.
