Job description
The Platform Architecture group at Apple is seeking a systems engineer to support and develop new hardware/software interface technologies for chip development and verification. This role involves collaboration with engineers across Apple to build and deploy prototype systems that enhance the integration of hardware and software. The engineer will ensure that products perform as intended, contributing to the trust millions of customers place in Apple's devices. A strong background in both software and hardware engineering is essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
- Experience programming in C/C++
- Threading/concurrency experience
- Experience with scripting skills such as Python or Lua
- Experience with debugging skills in software
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Excellent skills in SystemVerilog / VHDL and associated tools
- FPGA design experience
- Knowledge of industry standard protocols such as PCI and AXI
- Experience with internal customer support
- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
