As a Professional Services Engineer at Claris, you will leverage your expertise in FileMaker to support customer engagements and internal initiatives. • 7+ years of demonstrated experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining solutions using the Claris FileMaker platform.
• Strong knowledge of FileMaker solution architecture, data modeling, scripting, layouts, integrations, security, testing, and deployment.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reliable technical solutions.
• Experience working directly with customers, partners, developers, or other external technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead projects through the complete software development lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Consult on customer engagements ranging from focused discovery projects to complex, multi-month implementations.
• Lead the development of internal FileMaker solutions.
• Support companies evaluating new Claris products.
• Help strengthen the developer ecosystem around the Claris platform.
• Bring customer and developer insights back into Claris to improve services.
