The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for providing technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. This role focuses on maintaining application systems, ensuring stability, quality, and functionality while driving improvements in processes and workflows. The analyst evaluates complex issues, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and acts as a liaison between users and technology teams. Additionally, they play a key role in coaching new recruits and influencing decisions within their area of specialization.

• 5-8 years experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
• Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
• Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization.
• Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Knowledge/experience of problem Management Tools.
• Good all-round technical skills.
• Ability to plan and organize workload.

• Provide technical and business support for users of Citi Applications.
• Maintain application systems that have completed the development stage.
• Manage, maintain and support applications and their operating environments.
• Conduct start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
• Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to management.
• Review and develop application contingency planning to ensure availability.
• Partner with development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes.
• Engage in post implementation analysis to ensure successful system design.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities and security issues and communicate impact.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards.
• Act as a liaison between users/traders and internal technology groups.
• Raise problems to appropriate technology and business teams while adhering to Service Level Agreements.
• Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information.
• Directly impact the business by ensuring the quality of work provided.
• Exhibit sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
• Take active involvement in Support Project items covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives.
