Job description
NVIDIA is looking for an experienced Chip Software Project Manager to lead software activities for next-generation SOC chip development. This role involves coordinating software planning and execution throughout the silicon life cycle for various products, including Automotive and Data Center. The position is part of a high-performance team that emphasizes collaboration and efficiency across multiple geographic locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software project management and embedded systems architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in related areas with at least 4+ years of management experience.
- Deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Proven software technical project management background in a matrix organization.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, including CPU, memory, buses, and interconnects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement all aspects of software planning and completion for SOC chips.
- Develop and expand comprehensive workflows for SOC partner validation programs.
- Build and expand strategic connections with partners and act as the main program contact.
- Drive the simulation and emulation planning and schedule.
- Ensure teams provide all needed collaterals for the Software Product Life Cycle development process.
- Schedule and lead status meetings, handling communication of progress across all software teams.
- Partner closely with platform teams to define, prioritize, and execute bring-up of custom requirements.
- Act as the primary interface to Auto, Data Center, Embedded, and Mobile software groups for all chip-related issues.
