The Engineering Standards Program Manager will oversee building systems engineering standards for prototypes and construction projects within a newly developing business unit. This high-visibility role requires expertise in MEP, Refrigeration, and Control systems, acting as a bridge between the engineering department and the broader organization. The team focuses on establishing design standards, managing technical innovation, and ensuring quality assurance across various projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in an ambiguous environment and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technology, or Reliability Engineering
• 6+ years of engineering experience
• Strong working knowledge of building systems design, installation, and maintenance with a focus on refrigeration design and controls
• Experience with value engineering and cost reduction while maintaining quality standards
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations, schedules, budgets, and scopes
• Experience managing 3P engineering consultants
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with grocery refrigeration and controls design
• Experience with Amazon or retail construction projects
• Experience with commissioning standards and processes
• Knowledge of sustainability, energy conservation, and carbon reduction strategies

• Own MEP/R and FP engineering design standards.
• Establish and maintain standards with cross-functional partners, including basis of design for technical disciplines.
• Manage equipment specifications and design coordination.
• Execute MEP/R cost reduction, energy conservation, and sustainability goals.
• Lead technical innovation initiatives for building systems and quality control.
• Cultivate relationships with 3P engineering consultants and manage production of engineering documents.
• Conduct site inspections and facility audits while providing technical expertise to various teams.
• Support preventative maintenance SOPs and partner with Facilities to ensure systems align with established standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for MEP/R and Controls topics.
• Work cross-functionally to share best practices and provide engineering solutions for site-specific designs.
