Job description

As a Software Development Engineer in Amazon S3, you will work on building the next generation of S3 Index systems, tackling complex computer science problems related to durability and availability of key-value metadata. The team focuses on delivering innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment while maintaining high standards for test automation and code quality. You will collaborate with talented engineers and leaders to create scalable, fault-tolerant systems that serve billions of transactions per second. Requirements

  • 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to design and bring innovative products to market.
  • Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
  • Investigate design approaches and evaluate technical feasibility with team members.
  • Deliver maintainable and extendable working code based on feature specifications.
