Job description

The role involves working as a Software Development Engineer on the Sponsored Products Video team at Amazon, focusing on developing innovative advertising features that enhance the online shopping experience. The team is dedicated to re-imagining the advertising landscape using generative AI technologies. You will lead design and architecture efforts, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with a talented group of engineers, scientists, and designers. Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and testing
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of innovative features for Sponsored Products Video
  • Architect scalable solutions to handle evolving ad creatives and high traffic volumes
  • Work with page owners to integrate ad experiences into Amazon Retail
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and growth
