Job description

The CX-STAR organization at Amazon is looking for an experienced software development engineer to innovate support experiences for customers of Amazon's devices and digital products. The role involves building software for various Amazon companion apps and devices, impacting millions of customers globally. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Solve difficult engineering problems with elegant and practical code
  • Help define engineering best practices and provide technical mentorship to other team members
  • Champion the customer by ensuring their needs always come first
  • Design and build software for mobile, front-end clients, and server systems
