Job description
Blink is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to join their Cloud Development Team, focusing on creating large-scale cloud services for home security. The role involves working with world-class engineers to develop innovative capabilities for Blink security devices. Candidates will engage in the design, architecture, and operations of cloud systems that support millions of devices. The position emphasizes building distributed systems and ensuring operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience building services using AWS products
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL
Responsibilities
- Develop new cloud services for innovative capabilities on Blink security devices
- Continue the development of the Blink infrastructure within the Amazon ecosystem
- Work with streaming video, event handling, and high-performance computing
- Solve distributed systems problems
- Engage in the design and architecture of large-scale cloud systems
