Job description
As an Engineer at Elanco, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the digital systems that support our production facilities. Your primary focus will be on implementing and supporting Laboratory Execution Systems (LES) to ensure efficient and compliant operations. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize manufacturing processes and provide technical support for LES platforms. Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Prior hands-on experience with the configuration and support of an LES platform.
- Experience working directly in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a GxP-regulated industry.
- A working knowledge of GxP and familiarity with computer system validation principles.
- Familiarity with industrial automation concepts, including PLCs and SCADA.
- Experience with SQL for data queries to support troubleshooting and report generation.
- Proficiency in Python, Javascript, or similar programming languages.
- Proficiency in using approved GenAI tools to improve engineering productivity.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and be responsible for the configuration and implementation of LES solutions.
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to analyze manufacturing and laboratory workflows.
- Provide frontline technical support for LES platforms and troubleshoot system issues.
- Assist with the integration between LES and other critical systems.
- Execute validation protocols for LES enhancements and new implementations.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Operations, Quality Assurance, and Process Science teams to gather system requirements.
- Develop knowledge materials to ensure users are proficient in using the LES systems.
