The DFT Engineer role at Google Cloud focuses on shaping the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration through the development of advanced design-for-test methodologies. You will work with cutting-edge TPU technology that powers Google's AI/ML applications, contributing to the innovation behind products used by millions. This position involves defining and implementing DFT architectures and flows for complex SoCs in collaboration with design teams. You will leverage your expertise in design verification and test pattern generation to ensure high-quality digital designs.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in DFT architecture, implementation, Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG), and verification for SoCs.
• Experience with industry-standard test methodologies and platforms, such as ATE, MBIST, JTAG, or System Level Test (SLT).
• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Complete all Test Design Rule Checks (TDRC) and make design changes to fix TDRC violations to achieve high test quality.
• Insert DFT logic, including scan chains, MBIST, Test Access Port (TAP) controller, and other DFT IP blocks.
• Design verification of DFT logic and test pattern generation.
• Design and implement a System Level Test strategy.
