The Software Engineer position in the GDC AI Applications and Agents team at Google focuses on developing user-facing AI applications built on Google Distributed Cloud (GDC). • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• Experience building and deploying generative AI agents.
• Experience with machine learning, AI, and platform development.

• Design, develop, and test features for user-facing AI applications built on GDC.
• Implement components and services for the GDC Agent Platform to enable efficient creation, deployment, and management of Agentic AI applications.
• Contribute to improving the AI Developer Experience on GDC by enhancing tools and producing clear documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX designers, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of AI solutions.
