Job description

Blackstone is seeking a Product Manager for its Credit & Insurance Technology group, focusing on financial services technology and enterprise scale transformation. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to drive product development for portfolio accounting data warehouses and financial data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong product management experience and Agile delivery skills, working closely with engineers and business partners. This position is key to transforming the Alternative Asset Management industry through innovative technology solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with financial services technology, investment or portfolio accounting systems, or enterprise financial data platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success as a Product Manager delivering complex finance technology or data warehouse solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio accounting, credit instruments, and lifecycle events, with experience in bank debt preferred.
  • Proficiency with SQL for data validation, analysis, and exploration.
  • Deep expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to shape and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and strategy.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Risk, Front Office, and Technology teams to understand requirements.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage project workflows and maintain documentation.
  • Write, refine, and review user stories and specifications to translate business requirements into actionable deliverables.
  • Oversee project governance, including resource allocation and milestone management.
  • Drive automation, data quality improvements, and workflow optimization across Operations and Finance processes.
  • Facilitate change management and user adoption strategies for new systems and processes.
  • Develop business cases and communicate product updates to leadership.
