The Applications Development Engineer will focus on developing and implementing product applications for both existing and pre-release products to maximize customer value. This role is part of KLA's Global Products Group, which is dedicated to metrology and inspection products for semiconductor manufacturing. • Candidate must have a master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related fields.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate must be a strong team player.
• 70% travel will be required.
• Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 0-2 years.

• Develop and implement product applications for existing and pre-release products.
• Support projects related to new product introduction including characterization, alpha testing, beta testing, and pilot tools.
• Perform product diagnosis and problem resolution while interfacing with software and systems engineering.
• Conduct customer product demonstrations and provide technical training to Field Applications Engineers and end users.
• Document all test results and lessons learned in Best Known Methods, training documents, and demo reports.
