Job description

The Project Manager, MarTech role is a contract position focused on overhauling the content management platform at Bain. The PM will work closely with the program lead and coordinate efforts across marketing, IT, and external partners. This position requires strong project management skills to track progress, manage risks, and ensure effective communication among stakeholders. The role operates in a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least two days per week.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a similar execution-focused role, ideally in technology implementation work.
  • Comfortable working in Jira or equivalent project tracking tools.
  • Strong follow-through, consistently managing action items, closing loops, and pushing work forward.
  • Clear, direct communicator who can interface confidently with both technical teams and marketing stakeholders.
  • Able to operate independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment without waiting to be told what to do next.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology or content/campaign operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project and sprint activities to ensure timely progress.
  • Maintain a live view of progress across workstreams and surface risks to the program lead.
  • Own sprint tracking, monitoring ticket status in Jira and flagging blockers.
  • Ensure action items from meetings are captured, assigned, and followed up on consistently.
  • Schedule and coordinate working group meetings, stakeholder reviews, and cross-functional calls.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and distribute follow-ups.
  • Support day-to-day coordination between Bain marketing teams, the program lead, and an external development partner.
  • Track open items with vendors and escalate when deliverables are at risk.
  • Maintain and update tracking tools and shared documentation for accurate program visibility.
  • Help organize and maintain project requirements as specifications evolve.
  • Support preparation of biweekly program update decks and status communications.

Benefits

  • Employees at Bain are often offered comprehensive health coverage for employees and families, including mental, emotional, and behavioral health resources, with access to counseling, coaching, fitness, and fertility support (varies by location), plus strong financial protection (life, accident, disability; some offices add critical illness), tax-efficient programs, retirement savings, and extras like travel insurance, transportation, and mobile phones. Flexible time off and accommodations include paid holidays, vacation, personal/sick time, part-time/reskilling options, multiple leave paths, and (U.S.) 21 weeks of family leave for all parents; a mentorship-driven culture provides lifecycle career support, training, tuition assistance, and connection to a 19k-member alumni network.
