The Asset & Wealth Management Corporate Development team at Goldman Sachs is seeking a highly motivated member to join their lean team in New York. This role focuses on external growth through strategic M&A, commercial partnerships, and business strategy. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to high-visibility initiatives and engage regularly with senior leadership. The position is suitable for both Analyst and Associate level candidates, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance.
- 3 years of experience, preferably in investment banking or equity research.
- Robust analytical, quantitative, and technical abilities, including financial modeling and valuation experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analyses into concise takeaways.
- Experience with market data providers such as Morningstar, Preqin, FactSet, and Visible Alpha is a plus.
- Background or strong interest in the asset and wealth management industry.
Responsibilities
- Support evaluation and execution of all aspects of M&A and partnership opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth competitor and industry research to identify key trends driving change.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across traditional and alternative asset management and wealth management sectors.
- Prepare materials for AWM, Executive Office, and Board-level communications on strategy, performance, and competitive positioning.
