Job description

The role involves developing and integrating embedded software for advanced features, algorithms, and protocols on new compute and RF platforms within Qualcomm's Wireless R&D division. The team focuses on cutting-edge research for the next generation of wireless technology, including 6G. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and enhance user experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Understanding of multi-threading and OS fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software across the full development lifecycle.
  • Optimize performance and timing constraints in real-time embedded systems.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including design descriptions and architecture specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including baseband and RF system engineers.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to the evolution of wireless system architectures.
