We are seeking Localization and Planning Engineers to enhance autonomous driving systems through navigation maps. This role involves localizing, perception-map association, and lane selection to enable advanced vehicle features. You will work with standard navigation maps and ensure algorithms perform effectively in diverse environments. The position requires collaboration within a tightly-knit team and across various departments.

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of proven experience in relevant fields.
• Strong algorithmic design background.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
• Meticulous craftsmanship of software in modern C++, using RAII and best exception safe coding practices.

• Design and implement systems using standard navigation maps to navigate the car along a route on a lane level.
• Ensure algorithms perform effectively across large-scale real-world and synthetic datasets.
• Write safe, highly efficient code in C++.
• Productize all software for real-world deployment to consumer cars while following automotive quality and safety standards.
