The Channel Store Product Design Engineer will be part of the Channel Store Product Design team, which focuses on creating innovative store fixtures that enhance the customer experience in partner stores. This role involves understanding design goals related to aesthetics, safety, and functionality while collaborating with various stakeholders. The engineer will guide vendors in developing solutions that effectively merchandise Apple products. • B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong mechanical intuition and understanding of solid mechanics and material properties
• Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software
• Familiarity with metal manufacturing methodologies
• Experience with FEA, DFMEA, and root cause analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Self-motivated, curious, and attentive to detail
