The Asset Serv Assoc Analyst is a developing professional role that combines specialty knowledge with an understanding of industry practices. Requirements
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Operational knowledge within the Finance industry
- Experience in other financial products outside of asset service is advantageous
- Proven experience working within a team environment
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
- Analytical and numerate with the ability to research and resolve complex issues
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good lateral thinking and common sense
Responsibilities
- Manage reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action events
- Revise communications, notifications, and facilitate postings for Corporate Action or Proxy events
- Develop client-specific service solutions and maintain quality control
- Perform multiple transactions of moderate complexity to achieve operating efficiency and high productivity
- Minimize risk to the bank through adherence to procedural requirements and audit policies
- Participate in compliance-related procedures and controls activities
- Design business-required documents to reduce manual processing touch points
- Work closely with peers and product teams to develop solutions that meet department mission statements
- Participate in system testing and maintain awareness of product changes and system enhancements
- Assist team members during high volume work periods and provide back-up coverage
