NVIDIA is seeking a skilled engineer to design and implement OpenBMC Firmware for GPU Server platforms, primarily focusing on Arm architecture. The role involves hands-on work with BMC firmware, performance analysis, and coding manageability features for NVIDIA's server platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with team members to ensure design and testability align with product requirements. Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in BMC Firmware development on X86 or ARM Platforms.
- Domain expertise in BMC-BIOS communication, thermal management, and firmware security.
- Strong programming and scripting skills using C/C++, Bash, Python, and Go.
- Understanding of REST architecture style, especially JSON over HTTPs with OAuth.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement OpenBMC Firmware for GPU Server platforms.
- Develop and review code, design documents, and QA test plans.
- Design solutions for errors, stats, and configuration for enterprise readiness.
- Develop performance optimized active monitoring BMC solutions using DMTF Standards.
- Instrument code to ensure maximum coverage and automate unit tests.
