Job description
The Manufacturing Process Engineer at Elanco is responsible for supporting the design, operation, control, and optimization of technical processes at the Elwood, Kansas monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility. This role involves being a subject matter expert in process and equipment, engaging in development, data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. The engineer plays a crucial role in day-to-day operations, change management, and capital project delivery. The position emphasizes collaboration and innovation within a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological or related engineering discipline
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a related/relevant industry
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work, prioritize, and deliver results with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of cGMP standards and/or experience working in a regulated environment
- Success working in cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and on-floor support for process and equipment.
- Ensure equipment qualification and compliance with cGMP standards.
- Drive performance and process optimization through data analysis.
- Lead and support the full lifecycle of capital projects.
- Develop and manage technical documentation and risk mitigation strategies.
