Job description
The role at NVIDIA involves working in Design-for-Test Engineering, focusing on innovative solutions for DFT architecture, verification, and post-silicon validation of complex semiconductor chips. The team collaborates with various cross-functional teams to implement advanced designs and methodologies for next-generation products. Responsibilities include defining and deploying DFX architectures that ensure system-level safety and quality for automotive and industrial applications. The position also involves mentoring junior engineers and delivering efficient workflows for productization.
Requirements
- BSEE or equivalent experience with 8+ years, MSEE with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in DFT or related domains
- Demonstrated knowledge in defining scan test plans, BIST including memories and IOs, fault modeling, ATPG, and fault simulation
- Excellent analytical skills in verification and validation of test patterns on complex designs
- Good exposure to cross-functional areas including RTL design, STA, place-n-route, and power
- Experience in silicon debug and bring-up on ATE with an understanding of pattern formats and test program development
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Perl, Python, or Tcl
- Extraordinary written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own and work with cross-functional teams to implement state-of-the-art designs in test access mechanisms and BIST
- Develop and deploy DFT methodologies for next-generation products
- Define, prototype, and deploy next-generation DFX architectures across all products
- Collaborate with teams to productize new methodologies for leading processors
- Mentor junior engineers on test designs and trade-offs including cost and quality
