The Engineering Manager for Privacy Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) at Netflix will lead a team of software engineers focused on developing and maintaining privacy protective features and tools. This role emphasizes a consumer-centric approach to data collection, consent, and privacy controls, integrating solutions into Netflix's complex data ecosystem. The manager will work closely with PDPE leadership and various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while enabling data-driven business decisions. The position requires strong collaboration across disciplines to enhance foundational privacy needs.

• Proven leadership experience in managing software development teams and building privacy and/or security solutions in a large scale, data driven environment.
• Experience coaching and managing high performing teams with a focus on inclusive and growth-oriented feedback.
• Comfort with driving technical decisions in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment with competing priorities.
• Previous experience as a hands-on individual contributor with deep technical credibility.
• Demonstrated risk mitigation and data enablement of privacy tooling through measured outcomes and metrics.
• Strong understanding of privacy and security frameworks, data classification, and data protection controls.
