Job description
The Integration Engineer at Netflix will own the Talent integrations ecosystem, focusing on the connection between Workday and various Talent platforms. This role involves leading the design and implementation of integrations, ensuring reliability and observability, and managing vendor delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a deep understanding of HR processes. This position is crucial for modernizing integration architecture and enhancing system performance.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience building and running Workday integrations in production.
- Strong experience with at least one middleware platform.
- Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, and authentication methods.
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Proven track record of owning complex integrations or data flows end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end integration architecture between Workday and the Talent ecosystem.
- Lead the design and implementation of integrations throughout the full lifecycle.
- Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs for key integrations, including latency and error rates.
- Be the technical lead with vendors, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
- Maintain clear and current documentation for data contracts and architecture overviews.
Benefits
- Employees at Netflix are often offered flexible, people-first benefits—unlimited time away, generous parental leave, global family-forming support, mental-health programs (mindfulness, free counseling/coaching), and health coverage tailored by country. Financially, Netflix pays at personal top-of-market and lets employees choose their mix of cash vs. fully-vested 10-year stock options, alongside donation and volunteer matching. Convenience perks can include trust-based travel/expense policies, relocation support, and “Work, Not Drive” rideshare flexibility.
