Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computational Science, Math, Physics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD in software architecture, modeling, debugging, or prototyping.
- 3+ years of experience in computer architecture and familiarity with power and performance software optimization techniques.
- Experience in at least one programming language, such as Python or C++.
- Experience with parallel programming models, frameworks, or tools such as OpenMP or MPI.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance debugging and optimizing scientific applications on Intel CPUs and GPUs.
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of machine learning to help develop AI-assisted scientific workflows.
- Make high-level design choices for software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms.
- Determine coding practices, development tools, and validation requirements.
- Interact with senior technologists across Intel and within the industry to evaluate feasibility of requirements.
