The Senior Engineering Manager for Solutions Engineering will lead a highly technical team focused on accelerating the adoption of the Apple Data Platform (ADP) across Apple. This role serves as a bridge between customers and engineering teams, addressing complex technical challenges in data processing, machine learning, and governance. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to engage with executive stakeholders. The team will create reusable solutions and reference architectures to streamline customer adoption and enhance platform capabilities.

• 10+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or AI/ML technologies.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience.
• Deep technical expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience architecting and productionizing large-scale data, ML, Generative AI, or agentic workloads.
• Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence and drive alignment across complex engineering organizations.
• Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop senior technical talent.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Spark, Ray, Kafka, Trino, Iceberg, and modern AI/ML infrastructure.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.

• Lead the Solutions Engineering team to drive successful technical adoption of ADP.
• Engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements.
• Define end-to-end architectures and guide customers through onboarding and integration.
• Work closely with ADP engineering teams to identify platform gaps and influence its evolution.
• Create leverage across ADP by identifying common patterns and developing reusable solutions.
• Represent ADP with executive stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
• Drive alignment across complex cross-organizational initiatives.
