Job description
The Ad Exchange team at Apple is focused on delivering high-quality, privacy-preserving ads across Apple devices. This role involves leading cross-functional engineering teams to create performant services that support rapid growth. The team is responsible for critical services and tools that enhance both Search and Display ads. Candidates should have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in building distributed systems using public cloud technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building distributed systems with public cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of Microservice Design.
- Expertise in building backend distributed systems.
- Experience with creating solutions using public cloud technologies and APIs.
- Proficiency in Java is required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Prior Ads experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions for Ad Exchange orchestration.
- Design and implement performant services to support rapid growth with minimal operational overheads.
- Work with Advertising domain experts to engineer systems that can handle a variety of Ads use cases.
- Guide and mentor engineers while advocating a culture of learning and growth.
- Partner with leadership and peers on both technical and non-technical teams.
