Job description

The Sr. CPU RTL Methodology Engineer at Intel will play a crucial role in designing the next generation of high-performance microprocessors. This position requires hands-on experience in RTL methodologies and the effective use of AI tools to enhance silicon development processes. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure that designs meet critical performance targets while fostering a high-performing organization. This role is integral to advancing front-end methodologies and contributing to architectural discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of work experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years of work experience, or a PhD with 4+ years of work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in silicon development of CPU logic.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and in delivering successful IP Projects.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership and hands-on experience in leveraging AI tools and methodologies to drive efficiency gains in RTL coding.
  • Advance front-end methodologies and contribute to architectural discussions to enhance scalability and flexibility.
  • Develop and implement strategies, tools, and techniques for RTL development and logic optimization.
  • Ensure designs meet power, performance, area, and timing targets, as well as physical design integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively with architecture, backend, and other design teams to deliver industry-leading products.
  • Build and sustain a high-performing organization by fostering core group values and behaviors.
