This role involves designing and developing accelerated servers for AWS's Generative AI cloud offerings. You will work with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to deliver high-performance solutions for AI/ML and HPC workloads. The position requires close collaboration with customers to understand their technical needs and business goals. You will also oversee the quality and performance of the servers post-launch, ensuring they meet customer requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ years of server hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 4+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems experience.
• Master's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with the project management of technical projects.
• Experience in compute and storage server architecture and design for large scale applications.
• AI infrastructure hardware development and debugging experience.

• Own and lead the design and development of a new segment of accelerated servers.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and business goals.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product design from concept to production.
• Develop and execute test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components.
• Monitor the quality and performance of the servers after launch.
• Interface with internal and external customers to understand project requirements.
