The Apple Services Engineering team is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to innovate and design AI/ML solutions that enhance Apple Products. This role focuses on building secure, private, and high-performing systems while collaborating with diverse teams across Apple. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML engineering and a passion for improving engineering processes. You will tackle unique problems that directly impact user experience and product functionality.

• PhD or Master's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 - 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on AI/ML engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Python and/or Java/Scala.
• Solid understanding of traditional machine learning algorithms and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Proven experience with large-scale distributed data processing technologies.

• Research and develop state-of-the-art AI/ML solutions and tools.
• Design secure, private, and highly performant systems.
• Collaborate with broader teams across Apple and participate in design discussions.
• Participate in design reviews and rigorous code reviews to elevate engineering standards.
