As a System Performance Engineer - AI/ML on the Platform Architecture team at Apple, you will focus on ensuring the performance excellence of Apple products by benchmarking AI experiences. You will collaborate with engineers across the company to explore hardware and software technologies, aiming to enhance customer experiences. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree.
• 10+ years of industry experience in performance analysis.
• Experience in performance measurement, analysis, debug, and optimization using software profiling tools.
• Experience curating, running, and interpreting AI/ML workloads or benchmarks.
• Understanding of the hardware that accelerates AI/ML, including GPUs and NPUs.
• Understanding of OS fundamentals and system-level performance.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
