This role involves designing the next generation of fulfillment centers and logistics systems at Amazon. You will collaborate with both internal and external teams to create high-quality, cost-effective solutions. The position requires managing multiple projects from concept to design approval and serving as the primary technical contact for suppliers. You will also support the Ops Engineering team during installation and commissioning of the designed systems.

• 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
• Experience in management of engineering design projects
• Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• 5+ years of specialty experience with progressive responsibility
• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, electronic system design, and decision making
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high-speed manufacturing
• Experience with design-in-safety

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high-quality solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval.
• Serve as the primary point of technical contact for suppliers on your projects.
• Support the Ops Engineering team to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems.
• Work on a variety of projects including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
