The Network Infrastructure Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) will focus on building and scaling Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions as part of the Infrastructure Operations team. This role involves ensuring the stability and sustainability of next-generation networks while automating and enhancing network systems. The engineer will collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate project execution and support capacity management across multiple data center locations. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in network management.

• 3+ years of technical work experience or a Bachelor's degree in an advanced technical program
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
• General comprehension of the various components and sub-components of data center infrastructure
• CCNA or equivalent level networking certification

• Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and perform quality assurance activities.
• Support Network Engineering deployment activities during scheduled change management windows.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues.
• Manage work and priorities through the ticketing system and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Travel within the geographical work area and possibly internationally as required.
