The Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team is seeking a cleared Systems Development Engineer to enhance operational capabilities for U.S. Government agencies using cloud computing technologies. This role involves building and supporting Amazon's billing systems in secure environments while focusing on scalability, availability, and operational readiness. The engineer will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with top engineers and addressing complex technical challenges. The position requires maintaining an active TS/SCI security clearance and offers the opportunity to significantly impact government services.

• Experience in professional software development.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• An Associate's degree or above, or certifications such as CND or GSEC.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• Experience with automation tools for building, testing, releasing, or monitoring.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in Python scripting language.
• Experience with highly concurrent, high throughput systems and knowledge of complex distributed systems.
