Job description
Apple's Platform Architecture group is seeking a systems software engineer to develop and support innovative technologies for best-in-class system prototypes. This role involves collaborating with engineers across Apple to build and deploy prototype systems that integrate hardware and software. The engineer will work closely with silicon engineering teams on next-generation chips that impact millions of users. A passion for crafting elegant cloud solutions and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with programming languages such as Go, Swift, or C++ and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Understanding and practical experience with HTTP, DNS, RPC frameworks, databases, and operating systems.
- Good understanding of Cloud security concepts and knowledge of Authentication/Authorization frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Apple Container.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Experience using AI Agents or LLMs in software development.
- Exposure to Silicon workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support new technologies for system prototypes.
