As a Controls Engineer on the Fleet Remediation Engineering team, you will lead the design and implementation of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) controls solutions for data center retrofit projects. This role requires collaboration with various engineering disciplines to ensure that upgraded systems are effectively monitored and optimized. You will serve as the technical authority for controls within the team, managing the integration of mechanical and electrical systems. • 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers or power generation.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience in building automation systems.
• 2+ years of experience with data center or mission-critical facility control systems, including BMS and EPMS platforms.
• 2+ years of experience with HVAC systems, mechanical plant strategies, and control programming concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and create construction drawings and control diagrams.

• Lead controls design and integration for mechanical and electrical retrofit projects across the existing data center fleet.
• Develop and maintain controls design standards, specifications, and scope of work documents for retrofit projects.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and construction teams to deliver integrated controls solutions.
• Serve as the central technical authority for BMS/EPMS controls within the team.
• Perform controls design reviews on retrofit packages, identifying risks and opportunities for optimization.
• Coordinate with controls vendors and programmers on bid reviews and code reviews.
• Develop and review control sequences of operation and network architecture for retrofit applications.
• Interact with AWS cloud services to support data reporting and operational intelligence initiatives.
• Anticipate roadblocks in controls integration and provide proactive solutions.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support retrofit project initiatives.
