The Senior Manager of Fleet Hardware Engineering at Google Cloud will lead efforts to enhance hardware quality within data centers. This role involves collaborating with various teams to address hardware quality issues and drive systemic improvements. The position requires a deep understanding of hardware design and validation processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the development of cutting-edge computing infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience working on hardware quality within a data center or IT environment.
• 5 years of experience in technical leadership.
• Experience with data center and enterprise hardware, design processes, and verification methodologies.

• Work directly with customers, data center teams, and manufacturing teams to understand and analyze hardware quality issues.
• Partner with internal hardware and software teams and external vendors to triage, root cause, and fix hardware quality issues.
• Lead systemic changes to drive continuous improvement in hardware design, validation, and deployment.
• Present to Directors and VPs inside and outside of Google.
