Job description

The Graphics Acceleration Software team within the Media, Graphics & Compute Technologies group at Apple focuses on delivering software for GPU, display, power-management, and content-protection technologies for iOS and macOS products. This team is integral to enhancing Apple's media experiences through advanced graphics software. They are seeking a dedicated engineer with strong programming skills and a solid understanding of operating system concepts. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive Apple's graphics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C/C++
  • Development experience on Unix, Linux, or Mac OS
  • Experience with general operating system concepts and kernel-mode device driver development
  • Experience with systems engineering or low-level hardware and firmware/driver programming
  • Technical BS/MS degree
  • Knowledge of display technology
  • Experience with embedded systems
  • Experience with parallel and asynchronous processing
  • Experience with hardware bring-up and debugging
