Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Ph.D. with 10 years of hands-on experience in inertial sensing hardware development
- Proficiency in the theory of operation, signal processing, and design trade-offs
- Fundamental knowledge in physics, mechanical, electrical, and material science engineering
- Expertise in simulation, data collection, and statistical analysis tools such as ANSYS Multiphysics and MATLAB
- Executive level written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
Responsibilities
- Define inertial sensor roadmaps, infrastructure, and core technologies
- Specify and develop inertial sensing systems for consumer applications
- Review and approve verification results for inertial sensors
- Identify, create, and document new sensing system metrics
- Engage with external vendors and internal customers to ensure alignment on specifications
