• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Design and build well-architected services and tools that enhance security across Amazon.
• Collaborate with engineers, applied scientists, and security specialists to solve ambiguous, high-impact problems.
• Deliver end-to-end features that integrate cloud back-end services on AWS and modern developer experiences.
• Mentor other engineers and help grow their technical skills and security intuition.
• Own the quality bar for your area, including design reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in the operational excellence of the services you build, including monitoring and continuous improvement.
