As a Senior Infrastructure Reliability Engineer at AWS, you will focus on driving reliability risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment. You will work with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure the highest standards for safety and security while optimizing datacenter availability. The role requires collaboration with internal and external partners to enhance product specifications and risk management strategies. You will also be responsible for root cause analysis of equipment failures and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Master's in Reliability Engineering, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of work experience in reliability risk identification and assessment from component to system level
• Experience in design, development, validation, and manufacturing of Power electronics and Solid State transformer equipment

• Proactively drive reliability risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment
• Conduct root cause analysis of critical equipment failures and implement continuous improvements
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive product specification and risk identification plans
• Evaluate product design quality and reliability risks using analytical and empirical approaches
• Develop datacenter system level reliability models and perform related risk analysis for configuration optimization
• Monitor product performance in the field and drive root cause analysis of critical failures
• Conduct effective vendor auditing and quarterly review processes to enhance datacenter availability
