Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in system safety engineering in the aerospace, automotive, or robotics industries
- Experience in analysis and design of safety critical systems
- Experience working with requirements management and safety analysis tools such as CAFTA or Medini
- Proficient working with ARP-4761/4754, ISO26262, MIL-STD-882B, or similar system safety processes
- 8+ years of professional complex systems development experience
- Knowledgeable in statistical analysis and reliability engineering fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Own the completion of safety analyses and derive design safety requirements across all systems at Prime Air
- Help define the future of safety assessment processes and methodologies for drone aerial systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate design safety directly into the system development process
- Convey complex subject matter to stakeholders, leadership, and regulators
