Apple is seeking a circuit design engineer to innovate and develop advanced display technologies for mobile, laptop, and desktop products. The role involves taking ownership of display panel designs from concept to mass production. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to architect and optimize display circuits, ensuring top performance. This position also includes the integration of AI-assisted tools for circuit design and layout analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong command of Electrical Engineering circuit design fundamentals, both analog and digital
• Experience with Cadence/Virtuoso modeling and simulation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical knowledge of displays or related electronics
• Experience in display pixel and gate driver designs
• Understanding of Thin-Film Transistors (TFTs) and display panel processes
• Experience in characterizing electrical performance of circuits
• Experience in integrating AI and AI agents in circuit design and analysis workflows

• Scope and define display panel architecture
• Design, layout, and extract parasitic parameters for display pixels and panels
• Model, characterize, and validate display pixels and panels
• Conduct failure mode analysis and root cause investigations for mass-production display development
• Integrate new transistor technologies into display panel circuits
• Contribute to the development of custom AI-assisted tools for circuit and layout analysis
• Collaborate with EE/Silicon teams to define signal interfaces and compensation blocks for display panels
• Work with Touch teams to design touch sensors and analyze touch-display coexistence
• Collaborate with Sensing teams for sensor integration behind display panels
• Work with Mechanical Engineering/Product Design teams on panel peripheral circuit and border design
• Collaborate with external vendors for display manufacturing
• Travel internationally to support project implementation
