The Data Loop team at Rivian focuses on enhancing the Perception System through data-driven improvements. As a member of this team, you will manage data pipelines that contribute to the performance of autonomy features. Your work will involve collaboration with various teams to address technical challenges and improve training datasets. This role is crucial for driving the development of new autonomy features for Rivian's electric vehicles.

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience in Software Development and statistical analysis.
• Experience working in a robotics, perception or autonomy environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong problem solving and coordination skills.
• Excellent team player with strong communication and presentation skills.

• Drive continuous improvement in onboard performance by addressing current limitations through improved training data.
• Build tooling to understand data distributions and collaborate with autonomy leaders and engineers.
• Work closely with labeling and curation teams to prioritize data diversity, scale, accuracy, and feature expansion.
• Manage operations that continuously improve training and evaluation datasets, including curation and dataset generation.
• Collaborate with the ML Infrastructure team to build scalable tools for data operations.
