The successful candidate will bridge the gap between product design and field implementation, contributing to the development of cutting-edge fulfillment solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in system development engineering, process engineering, or hardware design and validation roles.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Proficiency with discrete event simulation tools and modeling techniques for system performance analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test data and identify failure patterns.
• Experience with rapid prototyping techniques including 3D printing and fabrication.
• 7+ years of experience in system development engineering or NPI engineering roles.

• Create systematic approaches and best practices for tackling complex, undefined problems across product development initiatives.
• Characterize and validate 3D depth cameras for automated quality inspection systems.
• Design and lead in-depth experiments to verify and validate design hypotheses.
• Drive fast-paced development cycles through rapid prototyping and iterative testing.
• Conduct statistical data analysis to extract insights and inform decision-making.
• Design and build lab infrastructure including hardware mockups and test fixtures.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to establish technical vision and drive strategic initiatives.
