This role is for a founding engineer on a new team focused on building a security review platform for code changes in the LLM age. The team aims to automate security evaluations, reducing the bottleneck caused by manual reviews. Engineers will have significant design ownership and will work closely with experienced security engineers. The mission is to create a system that provides automatic security assurance proportional to real risk.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Design and build the core of an event-driven platform that evaluates code changes for security risk.
• Own significant technical decisions end to end, including data flow and evaluation pipeline.
• Build and tune the automated evaluation layers and mechanisms for accuracy over time.
• Partner closely with the security team to turn risk evaluation criteria into production code.
• Work directly with security engineers to build context and tooling for fast reviews.
• Create a developer-facing experience with clear visibility into evaluations and outcomes.
• Negotiate and implement integrations with adjacent platform and telemetry teams.
• Raise the engineering bar on the new team through code and design reviews.
• Mentor engineers and assist in interviewing and growing the team.
