The Data Center Commissioning Engineer (CxE) is responsible for overseeing the testing and validation of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team to ensure construction quality aligns with engineering designs and customer requirements. The CxE will manage third-party commissioning vendors and lead various testing processes while addressing technical issues and coordinating project timelines. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities such as data centers or power generation
• Ability to read, interpret, and create construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in high-stress environments
